24 April 2012, Singapore – The new Canon Powershot D20 camera is  built with toughness to go under the sea, withstand freezing temperatures, and endure shocks resulting from knocks and drops.  This point-and-shoot camera will be your best companion to capture the memories of your wildest adventures. The D20 is compact and trendy looking when compared to the bulky and Polaroid looking predecessor the Canon Powershot D10.

• 3 inch LCD screen
• Waterproof – up to 10m, conforming to the IPX8 standard
• Shockproof – up to 1.5m, with a robust LCD screen, tough camera frame and lens barrel protection
• Freezeproof – up to -10 degrees Celsius
• Dust-proof – preventing Minute dust and sand particles from entering the camera
• GPS – for recording locations and local times of your photos and videos
• Anti-fogging – ensures that the camera always captures clear shots
• Rust-resistant coating -reinforces waterproof protection
• Double-layer glass construction – to prevent lens condensation

The PowerShot D20 will be available in both Blue and Yellow at S$599 from third week of May 2012 via all authorised Canon dealers in Singapore. Optional accessories for Canon Powershot D20 will also be available as follows:
