Marks & Spencer Flagship Store Doubles Size At Wheelock Place

27 April 2012, Singapore – Last week, Marks & Spencer shifted its flagship store from the basements of Wheelock Place to where Borders used to be, doubling in size and introducing its first bakery in Singapore.

30,000 square feet of shopping experience, this store showcases M&S’ most extensive range of fashion, accessories, food and wine here.

Clearly segmented clothing brands with distinct brand identities lets you shop with much ease. Limited Collection has an edgy, fashion-focused feel with an illuminated catwalk inspired by all things Italian while Collezione featuers an Italian scooter to highlight the suave, stylish pieces. per una is true to its brand values with a feminine and vibrant look highlighted with white-washed wooden wardrobes and chandeliers while Autograph is luxurious and sophisticated with a black glass table and grey posed mannequins.

The new Foodhall now includes frozen food as well as the cookies, snacks, wine and other food positioning M&S as a specialty food retailer. Over 800 products are offered here. Check out the Lemon Sole Goujons, Lochmuir Salmon Fillets, Cooked Hond Prawns, King Prawn Bhuna or the sauces such as Specialty Pesto Genoves, Bolognese Pasta Sauce, Salted Caramel Sauce, Balsamic Vinegar of Modena or grains such as Large Naan Breads, Fine Egg Noodles and Italian Risotto Rice. There is also a range of herbs and spices including Tom Yum Soup Paste, Italian Herb Seasoning and Oregano. For a quick and satisfying meal, pick up the pre-cooked meals such as the Vegetable Curry, Mushroom Pappardelle, Broccoli and Cheese Bake, Roasted Vegetable Quiche and Salmon & Broccoli Quiche. The in-store bakery located within the Foodhall offers a range of specialty breads, pastries and cakes. Here you can pick up freshly baked from pre-prepared dough baguettes, French Country Loaf, Almond Croissant, Red Onion Focaccia and Walnut Bread. If you have a sweet tooth, there are mouthwatering treats such as the Cherry & Almond Tart, Cinnamon Swirl Danish, Chocolate Chip Shortbread, Lemon Muffin, Jam Doughnut, Pain Au Chocolate and Bramley Apple Turnover.

M&S offers three new bath and body beauty collections including Ragdale Hall, Spa Collection and La Miason de Senteurs in the beauty section.
