12 November 2012, Hong Kong – Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) and the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) launched the “Great Outdoors Hong Kong” campaign yesterday offering free guided tours along five thematic hiking trails every consecutive Sunday starting yesterday till 9 December 2012.
There is also a “Great Outdoors Hong Kong” activity guide introducing the various hiking trails and islands in Hong Kong for free and independent travelers to plan their own hiking trips. There are also free and commercial tours organised by local hiking groups and travel agencies.
You can sign up at HKTB Visitor Centres two days or more before the tour.
