3 October 2012, Singapore – A few weeks after the announcements for Samsung GALAXY Note 2 and the new Samsung GALAXY Camera, we finally get the chance to try out these new Android devices. No price and availability dates have been confirmed for Singapore market yet, but they will probably be available before the holiday season.
Samsung GALAXY Note II
The over sized Android smartphone feels light & good on the hands, albeit bulky. Operating it and scrolling though the apps and widgets are very responsive. The 5.5″ HD Super AMOLED display produces vibrant and crisp images, while the new ergonomic designed S Pen learnt a few more tricks making it the perfect choice for corporate warriors to consider the Note II as their next smartphone.
Samsung GALAXY Camera
The Samsung GALAXY Camera is Samsung’s first Android based point & shoot camera. Packed in this compact and organic designed body is a 16-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor, 21x optical zoom lens, pop-up Xenon flash and a 4.77″ HD Super Clear Touch Display. Running on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) now you can edit and upload the pictures you took directly to Instagram via WiFi or 4G network.
The operations are very smooth and responsive, unlike some other Android based cameras which are laggy in loading apps. The camera is light and produce decent quality images with 10 Smart Pro modes that help users to capture from action freeze in sports to long exposure waterfall trace effect on streams and river. It is a great camera to bring around wherever you go.
