12 October 2011, Singapore – Raffles City presents their Fall/Winter 2011 trends through life-sized paper dolls. Kicking off the Fall/Winter 2011 collection, a fashion show of models dolled up in the same outfits as the paper dolls choreographed by acclaimed fashion and creative director Daniel Boey was presented to media on 5 October 2011.
Whimsical life-sized fashion sketches turned into living dolls as they strut down paper promenade in the finest looks in brands from Robinsons, Furla, Shanghai Tang, Raoul and Top Shop.
Ridhwan Sesapar, the illustrator behind the design of the paper dolls, is responsible for the art direction of fashion e-zine ONESIXTYNOTEPAD.
The paper dolls in 30 different outfits inspired by Fall/Winter will be displayed over three weeks with ten looks featured each week from 5 to 23 October at Level 1. These collections featured are available at Raffles City.
Fall/Winter unfolds with dazzling colour blocks, rusty autumn browns, mustard looks, sophisticated heeled brogues, booties, tasteful faux fur and cozy sweaters in graphic, patterned and geometrical prints. To welcome the season, you can also expect shiny sequins that glitter in the light and wild sex leopard prints.
