Pokka Rolls Out First Cashless Vending Machine At Community Centres in Singapore

21 January 2013, Singapore – Pokka launches 20 cashless vending machines that accept payments via Contactless ePurse Application (CEPAS) concession and ez-link card.  The beverage company is collaborating with PaymentLink (A Korvac company), People’s Association and Schmidt Electronics Group since November 2012 and aims to launch 100 Pokka CEPAS vending machines island-wide by late this year.

These machines will offer refreshing Pokka beverages such as Jasmine Green Tea, Ice Lemon Tea, Sparklin’ Fuji Apple and Pulpy C Orange priced between S$1.20 and S$1.70. Pokka aims to roll out 100 machines islandwide by the end of the year.

The first machine was introduced in Zhenghua Community Centre last December followed by 19 other community centres at Bishan, Ang Mo Kio, Cairnhill, PA Headquarters, Tanjong Pagar, Teck Ghee, Toa Payoh East, Toa Payoh South, Senja-Cashew, Bukit Panjang, Siglap, Anchorvale, Ci Yuan (Hougang), Ulu Pandan, PA Water-Venue at East Coast Parkway, Bishan North, Hwi Yoh and Mountbatten.
