April 2011, Singapore – Missoni and Havaianas collaborates to launch an exclusive collection of flip-flops dubbed “The Missoni ♥ Havaianas Collection”.
Drawing inspiration from designs from designer Angela Missoni’s passion for Brazil and its joyful, colourful and seductive lifestyles that she declares is ‘common’ in Italy, Creative Director of the House of Missoni and a long-time Havaianas fan, the bespoke collection is designed in two styles – Slim Wave and Top Unisex. Each pair features Missoni’s signature enlarged space-dye or wave pattern on Havaianas’s soles, resulting in a colourful flip-flop with an added slice of humour.
Every pair comes in an exclusive Missoni knit bag. The design was made for the collection fusing the colours of the Italian and Brazillian flags.
Each pair is priced at S$69.90 and is available exclusively, while stocks last, at the following locations:
