F1 Fever With Red Bull Speed Street Singapore

24 April 2011, Singapore 1.30pm – Orchard Road is being prepared now for 3pm when shoppers can watch the Red Bull Racing, Audi R8 LMS and Renault Megaine RS Show cars will cover an 800 m stretch from ION Orchard to Mandarin Galley. Crowds have started to flocked the Civic Atrium at Ngee Ann City where the Red Bull Speed Street event is based. The new Renault Latitude, Megane Coupe-Cabriolet, Fleunce and Megane hatchback and Megaine RS are on display and fans can purchase Red Bull merchandise on sale. There’s even a gaming area featuring the Red Bull X2010 supercar in Sony’s PS3 game GT5 alongside 4 units of F1 simulators from Singapore GP.

Motor racing fans can expect the following:

• Former Red Bull Racing driver Scotsman David Coulthard will perform some high revving wheel burning stunts in the RBR running show car in a show case which will last about an hour.
• Malaysian former F1 driver Alex Yoong will be driving the Audi R8 in one of two filler shows
