11 January 2013, Singapore – Now there is more reason to fly through Singapore’s Changi Airport on Singapore Airlines or SilkAir. Qualified transiting passengers of both airlines will receive S$40 Changi Dollar Vouchers from now till 30 June 2013, which is double the amount since the Changi Transit Programme was first launched on 1 October last year. After 30 June 2013, the value of the Changi Dollar Vouchers will revert to the original Changi Transit Programme value of S$20 till 31 March 2014.
The Changi Dollar Vouchers are valid for one-time use at more than 450 retail, food and service outlets in the transit and public areas of Terminals 1, 2 and 3 excluding outlets in the Arrival Baggage Claim halls.
They can also be used to redeem for one-time access to the Ambassador Transit Lounge at Terminals 2 and 3 for up to six hours. You can enjoy the facilities in the lounge which include showers, light refreshments, free flow of non-alcoholic beverages and a selection of reading materials.
If you are travelling on Singapore Airlines or SilkAir on both your inbound and outbound flights with a 13-digit e-ticket receipt number beginning with 618 or 629. Present your electronic ticket and boarding pass of your Singapore bound flight at any of the seven Information Counters in the transit areas of Terminals 2 and 3. Do note that the vouchers are issued while stocks last and expire on 31 March 2014.
