Eon Productions, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios and Sony Pictures Entertainment are delighted to announce the 23rd James Bond adventure 'SKYFALL'

3 November 2011, London, UK – SKYFALL, the 23rd James Bond adventure will be directed by Academy Award Winner Sam Mendes and will star Daniel Craig, Javier Bardem, Dame Judi Dench, Naomie Harris and Bérénice Marlohe. The filmmakers also announced Ralph Fiennes, Albert Finney and Ben Whishaw.

Screenplay is written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade and John Logan.   This films is from Albert R. Broccoli’s Eon Productions, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios and Sony Pictures Entertainment.

SKYFALL will test Bond’s loyalty to M as her past comes back to haunt her.  As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat at all cost.

“We’re so delighted to have Sam Mendes direct SKYFALL and be working once again with Daniel Craig.   We’ve a great script, an extraordinary cast and an incredibly talented creative team for this latest James Bond adventure,” said Wilson and Broccoli.

Other members of the crew include:

  • Director of Photography – Roger Deakins, nine-time Oscar nominee who has previously shot the films Jarhead and Revolutionary Road for Mendes.
  • Production Designer – Dennis Gassner, Oscar winner who previously designed Quantum of Solace and collaborated with Mendes on the films Road to Perdition and Jarhead.
  • Editor – Stuart aird, A.C.E., whos many credits include Casino Royale.
  • Costume Designer – Jany Temime whose many credits include the Harry Potter series, In Bruges, and Children of Men.
  • 2nd Unit Director  – Alexander Witt an action specialist.
  • Stunt Coordinator – Gary Powell
  • SFX Supervisor – Christ Corbould
  • Visual Effects Supervisor – Steve Begg

Production starts 7 November 2011, Monday and will begin its worldwide rollout in the UK and Ireland on 26 October 2012 and 9 November 2012 in North America.
