IWC Schaffhausen Launches Ingenieur Automatic Hong Kong Flagship Limited Edition

20 November 2012, Hong Kong – Swiss watch maker IWC Schaffhausen celebrates the third anniversary of its first Flagship Boutique in Hong Kong with the Ingenieur Automatic Hong Kong Flagship Limited edition timepiece. Based on the IWC Vintage Collection, there are only 188 pieces available exclusively at the 1881 Heritage Flagship Boutique in Hong Kong.

The Ingenieur Automatic was first released in 1955. Today, the Ingenieur watch family is epitome of tough, functional watches designed to withstand water, impacts, vibrations and temperature changes.

This limited edition piece omits the soft-iron inner case featured in the classic original, providing an impressive view of the IWC-manufactured movement 801111 instead. The case is made of 18-carat red gold and combined with a black alligator leather strap, an ardoise dial and red-gold alpliquées while the tip of the second hand is highlighted in red.

The IWC 1881 Heritage Flagship Boutique in Hong Kong has been the concept that has been reflected in IWC stores around the world including Abu Dhabi, Miami, Taipei, Paris, Zurich, Macao and the Flagship Boutique in New York City.

The IWC 1881 Heritage Flagship Boutique in Hong Kong is located at Shop G12-/13, G/F 1881 Heritage, 2A Canton Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong. Operating hours at 10am to 10pm Mondays to Sundays.
