Tune Protect Group Berhad and AirAsia Aviation Group launches the AirAsia Comprehensive Travel PLUS in Singapore, featuring Cashless Hospital Admission services at over 7,500 hospitals worldwide through a collaboration with Europ Assistance for AirAsia flights departing from Singapore. This cashless hospital admission service is integrated into the AirAsia Comprehensive Travel PLUS issued by FWD Singapore Pte Ltd at no additional cost.
Travellers departing from Singapore can purchase the plan through AirAsia booking platforms online and offline, including the “Manage My Booking” feature and Online Check-in via the AirAsia MOVE app. Premiums start from S$28.60 for a return trip plan.
Activating Tune Protect – AirAsia’s Cashless Hospital Admission service while abroad is a simple and hassle-free process. Customers only need to call the Tune Protect – AirAsia Emergency Hotline (+65 3165 6256) and provide their flight booking number for verification. Once verified, a Medical Agent will coordinate with a nearby medical provider and arrange transportation if required. To ensure seamless medical care, a Coverage Letter is sent directly to the medical provider, guaranteeing immediate attention without payment delays. Best of all, policyholders won’t need to worry about claim submissions, as medical bills are handled directly through the service.
The medical Expenses is up to S$10,000 if you are at least 2 years old and under 76 years old. Infants under 2 years old travelling together with an adult insured under this policy or adults above 76 years old are covered up to S$2,500.
The AirAsia Comprehensive Travel PLUS also includes other benefits, including trip cancellation, flight delay, loss of damaged baggage, and loss of personal money and travel documents, among others.
Besides Singapore, the Cashless Hospital Admission is also available for travellers departing from Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia. Tune Protect is scheduled to introduce the feature in Vietnam and other markets in the near future.
