30 April 2012, Australia – More than 767 bloggers from 53 countries participated in a call to become ‘Queensland Blogger Correspondents’ as part of a Tourism Queensland promotion collaboration with Australia’s prominent blogger, Darren Rowse from Problogger.net and digital-photography-school.com.

Darren is passionate about Queensland and wants to showcase its destinations, particularly the Great Barrier Reef to the world.  He invited fellow bloggers and global audiences to describe within 150 words why they would make the ideal ‘Queensland Blogger Correspondent’.

10 international bloggers were picked to spend five days from 5 to 10 June this year in Queensland with Darren Rowse.   They would be able to learn some blogging tips from Darren as well as to cuddle up with some of the native animals and taste local cuisine including fresh seafood from the Great Barrier Reef as well as experience the other local attractions.  These 10 winners’ blogs have a diverse coverage about motherhood, food, photography, travelling, men’s lifestyle and diving.

These 10 bloggers will be able to reach out to some 2.5 million readers around the world.

The 10 winning bloggers are :

  • Rebecca Cooper (Canada) of Simple as That
