Yesterday, Tigerair operated its inaugural flight from Changi Airport to Lucknow, India making it the only airline to operate direct flights between the two cities. It is Tigerair’s sixth Indian destination in addition to Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderbad, Kochi and Tiruchirapalli. It will operate 44 services to India weekly.
Flights between the two cities are operated every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday subject to regulatory approval on the low cost carrier’s Airbus A320 aircraft. TR 2676 departs Singapore at 5.30pm and arrives in Lucknow at 8pm. The return flight TR 2677 departs Lucknow at 9pm and arrives in Singapore at 4.35am.
