The Standard, Singapore is set to open its doors on 28 November 2024, marking the brand’s latest addition to the region following the launch of its Southeast Asian locations in Hua Hin in 2021 and Bangkok Mahanakhon in 2022. As the fifth property in the Asia Pacific, this new hotel will be located on the prestigious Orange Grove Road, sharing the neighbourhood with the renowned Shangri-La Singapore.
The hotel is a short walk from both the Botanic Gardens and Orchard Road’s shopping district.
The 143 rooms across eight floors have been created by Standard International’s in-house design team and Ministry of Design. They feature floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the pools and the lush greenery of the district.
The Garden stretches across the first and second floors offering guests a peaceful respite which leads up to The Pool. The path is lined with art installations and carefully selected landscape elements to enjoy breathtaking sunsets.
Culinary offerings include Kaya, an imagined Izakaya experience with bold flavours featuring a menu of nigiri, maki rolls and robatayaki accompanied by a sake and whisky list and Kaya Bar offers an inventive cocktail programme. On the ground floor facing the street is Café Standard, which serves up an all-day menu of American fare paired with natural wines and craft beers.
To celebrate the grand opening, enjoy 15% off the Best Available Room-only Rate which comes with welcome drinks and a 20% dining discount if you book before 30 December 2024 for stays from 15 December 2024 to 30 June 2025.
