Thai Airways increases checked baggage allowance

The next time you fly on Thai Airways, you can check in an additional 10kg. Royal First Class passengers enjoy 50kg allowance, while Royal Silk Class and Economy Class passengers can check in 40kg and 30kg respectively. Now you can shop more when you visit Thailand.

Some Asian airlines including Singapore Airlines, Japan Airlines, Garuda Indonesia and Malaysia Airlines have already increased their checked baggage allowance by 10kg for some time. Japan Airlines seems most generous with up to two pieces of checked in baggage at 23kg per baggage for economy class and three pieces of 32kg each for Business.
