US Hyperrealist sculptor Carole A. Feuerman has partnered Harbour City in Hong Kong to display her solo art exhibition in Asia Pacific. The Ocean Terminal Forecourt at the mall has been transformed into a 3D illustrated swimming pool featuring six hyperrealist sculptures from today till 5 July 2015.
Carole opened the exhibition earlier this afternoon. The 3D illustration swimming pool was created by Hong Kong spatial and interior designer Andy Tong and two visual artists Karen Pow from Hong Kong and Chao Harn Kae from Malaysia.
“Artistic Lifeguards” were recruited to bring the exhibition to life this afternoon. These ‘lifeguards’ were paid a daily rate of HK$10,000. 30 were interviewed from over 400 applicants and only eight were picked. These eight were trained to give a guided art tour by Hong Kong Institute of Aesthetic Education and Carole A. Feuerman introduced her works with them in person today. They will introduce the sculptures to the public on weekends and public holidays.
