Visiting Hong Kong for your next shopping and dining experience? Novotel Citygate Hong Kong is located not too far off from Hong Kong International Airport and you can get to the hotel from the airport by the hotel’s complimentary shuttle service in just five minutes. The complimentary shuttle service operates at 15 minute intervals from 6am to 11.45pm daily. You can approach B16 counter at the Airport Arrival Hall or directly to Bay 29 to 30 at the Coach station to wait for the blue vans or buses.

More importantly for the shopperholics, it is walking distance to Citygate Outlets Shopping Mall, the popular mall with 80 international brands that run year round discounts of up to 70%.  A five minute walk will get you to the Ngong Ping Cable Car where you can enjoy a 25 cable car ride across the green hilltops to Giant Buddha and Wisdom Path. And getting downtown to the city centre takes 28 minutes by mass transit railway (MTR).  Hong Kong Disneyland is two stops away.

Get a good night’s rest on this comfortable bed. Watch a good show or two on cable while sipping a cup of self made tea available from the in-room bar.

The shower room and toilet area is designed to save space and yet offer sufficient room so that you remain comfortable. The use of glass in this open bathroom concept gives you a sense of spaciousness. You can sit and shower, something I find perfect for scrubbing feet without having to bend over.

Novotel Citygate Hong Kong has four food and beverage outlets. Essence serves Asian fusion offering breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet. Olea serves Mediterranean fare during lunch and dinner. Andante Bar opens from 10.30am till late with happy hours from 5pm to 8pm. Moccato offers coffee and tea with pastries.
