Star Alliance redesigned its website with a fresh, modern look offering a user friendly experience across both desktops and mobile devices. The design is mobile friendly and the information and content is targetted at alliance travellers who fly on more than one of the Alliance’s 28 member airlines. It will also upgrade its iPad and Android apps.
As a Star Alliance Gold member, I have personally used the new site to search for Star Alliance lounges at airports that I will fly out from. The most recent review of the EVA Air lounge in Bangkok was the result of searching on Star Alliance’s new refreshed website. It even showed basic information on the destination airports, with maps and details of the lounges.
Gold members can use any Star Alliance lounge when travelling.
The site is a one-stop information hub about the whole network, the benefits offered to its frequent flyers as well as products for leisure and business travel.
The Flight Search lets you scan the schedules of all the 28 member airlines serving over 1,300 airport globally. You will be able to identify connections that best meet your travel needs. It even links to the airline’s website for you to book.
You can check the flight status of over 18,500 daily flights worldwide on the home page.
