Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort and Spa opened its doors on 5 November 2015. Originally Beaufort and then Sentosa Resort and Spa, this hotel property has undergone refurbishments to the rooms as well as some of the areas while retaining the main structures that has been synonymous of this property.
The property has been transformed reflecting Sofitel’s bold and elegant style yet retaining the nature within the hotel’s buildings.
Elements of French flair are found throughout the resort. From the decor in the rooms to the metal lion and horse in the main lawn or the occasional peacock proudly displaying its feathers, you will enjoy the peaceful environment.
The world’s largest So SPA is also here at Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort and Spa. There are 20 treatment rooms, a Jacuzzi section and a dedicated ladies-only area. The Mud Pool is unique to the So SPA in Singapore. Purify and renew your skin with New Zealand volcanic mud which is rich in mineral content.
Other facilities at the hotel include a 33-metre swimming pool, four F&B options and 1,300 sqm of MICE facilities.
The Guestrooms
There are 211 rooms and suites, including four pool villas. The room categories here include the Luxury Room, Luxury Garden Room, Junior Suite, Prestige Suite, Prestige Family Suite, Imperial Suite and the Villa du Jardin.
We checked out the suites here and liked how spacious they were. With a separate living room to relax in and a comfortable bedroom featuring the Sofitel MyBed, the rooms here are decorated like a home so guests can enjoy their stay as if they have not even left their own homes.
Guests at Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa get to enjoy illy coffee and tea in their rooms.
Art has also been incorporated into the hotel rooms as well as other parts of the hotel. While it may elegantly simple at the walkways leading to the rooms, we like a hotel that incorporates its space with the natural environment.
The Bathrooms
The bathrooms in the suites offer luxurious amenities. A separate shower and bathtub in the suites and Lanvin toiletries may just be the reason for you to pamper yourself indoors. We love the orange-amber fragrance. Hermes toiletries are also used in the villas.
Villa au Jardin
The two-bedroom Villa du Jardin comes with your own personal pool and garden terrace. The 300 sqm villa features a living room, ensuite designer bathroom with walk-in dressing areas, Pharo massage jet whirlpool and Hermès toiletries. A room night costs an average of under S$2,000.
Le Bar and Kwee Zeen
Le Bar serves afternoon tea as well as drinks throughout the day as well as Kwee Zeen which serves up a Magnifique Sunday Champagne Brunch. Read about the champagne brunch here.
