11 March 2013, Singapore – Singapore Zoo turns 40 on 27 June this year with a range of celebratory activities planned out for the year.   The Singapore Zoo was started out by a young team led by Dr Ong Swee Law in 1973 and continues to be a designated rescued wildlife centre by the governing authority.  The zoo has been an evergreen destination for children and adults here where they visit when the move up different stages in life from a child to parent and then to grandparent.

The Wild Search for a 40th Birthday Buddy! – Singapore Zoo is on the lookout for people who share her birthday on 27 June 1973.  IF you were born on this date, email corpcomms.szg@wrs.com.sg and get invited for a very special Singapore Zoo Birthday bash which includes an exclusive tour with a zoo pioneer.

Turning 40 in 2013 – From 1 March to 31 December 2013, if you are also turning 40 this year, enjoy 40% off admission ticket prices for yourself and four other friends when you visit in the month of your birthday.

40th Birthday Bash Zoo Hunt – From 16 to 17 March, take part in the 40th Birthday Bash Zoo Hunt and complete a trail that takes you through some of the Zoo’s most notable sites.
