Singapore will get its first 340-room Andaz hotel at the DUO development in the Ophir-Rochor district in 2017. It will be the brand’s first hotel in Southeast Asia’s gateway city.

M+S is the developer of the DUO development with a 60:40 co ownership by Malaysia’s national investment company Khazanah, and Singapore counterpart Temasek. With a gross floor area of 1.73 million square feet, DUO was conceived by internationally renowned architect, Ole Scheeren. DUO will offer a distinctive 24/7 live-work-play environment.

Andaz’s boutique lifestyle hotel concept in Singapore will provide a stay free of barriers with fluid, friendly and accommodating spaces with distinct design features. There will be 340 guestrooms, a lounge area, restaurants and bars, a rooftop outdoor venue, meeting and event spaces, spa services, a fitness centre, an outdoor swimming pool and a gift shop.

Andaz hotels has other locations in the pipeline including Delhi, Munich and Bali.

In addition to the hotel, DUO also features 660 premium residences, 570,000 square feet of prime Grade A office space and a retail gallery of 56,000 square feet, all set within a park-like environment. Bugis MRT Station is directly connected to the development and is 15 minutes away from Changi Airport.
