Singapore Assembled Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 Engine to Power Scoot’s Dreamliners

Scoot will be collecting its first Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner from Seattle end January 2015 to add to its existing fleet of six Boeing 777-200s.

Today the low cost carrier unveiled its Singapore built Trent 1000 engine at the Rolls-Royce Seletar campus which will power Scoot’s fleet of 20 Boeing 787 Dreamliners. Scoot has nine other Boeing 787-8 and 10 othe Boeing 787-9 on order.

Scoot’s first Dreamliner will be operated to Perth next month shortly after arriving in Singapore.
