Singapore Airlines To Fly A380 to Beijing

Singapore Airlines will deploy the Airbus A380 for Flight SQ802 from Singapore to Beijing and the return flight SQ807 from 1 August 2014. The 471 seat A380 will replace two flights which are operated with smaller aircraft. Singapore Airlines will operate three flights to Beijing Capital International Airport every day.

Flight SQ 802 departs Singapore at 8.30am and arrives in Beijing at 2.40pm.  Flight SQ 807 departs Beijing at 4.35pm and arrives in Singapore at 10.55pm.

Singapore Airlines and its regional arm SilkAir together serve 10 Chinese cities with 120 weekly flights. Singapore Airlines also operates 49 weekly flights to Hong Kong. SilkAir will introduce new Hangzhou flights 27 June 2014.

Besides Beijing, Singapore Airlines also flies the A380 to Shanghai, Hong Kong, Frankfurt, London, Los Angeles, Melbourne (until 25 October 2014), Mumbai, New Delhi, New York, Paris, Sydney, Tokyo Narita and Zurich.
