SilkAir Makes Maiden Flight to Hangzhou

SilkAir made its maiden flight to Hangzhou at 10am to day from Changi Airport Terminal 2. Flight MI918 is scheduled to arrive in Hangzhou’s Xiaoshan International Airport at 3.20pm later today. The return flight, MI917 will depart Hangzhou at 4.20pm and arrive in Singapore at 9.25pm.

SilkAir will fly to Hangzhou four times a week with departures on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

Customers flying on the inaugural today out of Singapore and on the return trip would have received a silk scarf and an inaugural flight certificate personally signed by the Chief Executive, Mr Leslie Thng and the flight commander to commemorate the occasion.

Hangzhou is SilkAir’s 48th destination and flights to China have been increased to 50 per week.
