SIA To Fly To Surabaya & Increases Bali & Jakarta Flights

Singapore Airlines will introduce daily flights to Surabaya from 26 July 2013, taking over one of the two daily Surabaya flights currently operated by its regional subsidiary SilkAir.    SIA will operate the 285-seat Airbus A330s, increasing combined SIA and SilkAir capacity on the route by 48%.

SIA will also introduce a ninth daily service to Jakarta and add a fourth daily service to Denpasar in Bali.

SIA currently operates 56 weekly Jakarta flights and 21 weekly Denpasar flights while SilkAir operates 60 weekly flights to nine Indonesian destinations while adding Semarang and Makassar from 1 August 2013.
