Scoot will launch a new daily flight route to Subang Malaysia from 1 September 2024 operating the Airbus A320 aircraft, offering customers an alternative option to travel between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore and beyond the rest of Scoot’s network.

With this addition, Scoot’s route network will expand to 70 destinations, including Ipoh, Kota Kinabalu, Kuala Lumpur (KLIA), Kuantan, Kuching, Langkawi, Miri, Penang, and Sibu in Malaysia. By September 2024, the low-cost carrier will operate 110 weekly flights to Malaysia.

This announcement comes after TransNusa made the announcement that they were flying between Jakarta and Subang from 1 August 2024 and that only two airlines had been awarded approvals to start flights to Sultan Abdul Aziz Airport.
