Scoot will take over from its parent company Singapore Airlines services between Singapore and Jeddah from 1 May 2016. This transfer of operations will increase capacity and optimised utilisation of the SIA Group’s resources.
Today Singapore Airlines operates three weekly flights to Jeddah via Dubai with its 285-seat Airbus A330-300s. Subject to regulatory approval, Scoot will use its 335-seat Boeing 787-8s to operate non-stop services between the two cities with frequency increase in the future.
TZ 592 departs Singapore at 4.40pm on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday and arrives in Jeddah at 8.30pm. The return flight, TZ 591, departs Jeddah on the same day at 10pm and arrives in Singapore at 12.40am the next day
Customers with advance bookings to or from Jeddah on Singapore Airlines will be re-accommodated on Scoot’s new services with an option to opt for a refund. You can also earn KrisFlyer miles when flying with Scoot. Read about that here.
