Scoot is adjusting its flight network in anticipation of stronger demand during the Northern Winter season, starting November 2024. Additional weekly flights will be introduced to Chiang Mai and Hanoi, with frequencies increasing from 10 to 11 times weekly and five to six times weekly, respectively.
From December 2024, Scoot will expand its Perth services from 13 to 14 weekly flights, while Melbourne flights will rise from 12 to 13 times weekly, transitioning to twice daily from January 2025. Seoul (ICN) via Taipei will see an increase of three additional weekly flights, making it a daily service. Tokyo (NRT) via Taipei will also increase to 14 weekly flights, up from 12.
Routes operated by the Embraer E190-E2 aircraft will experience more frequency, with Davao rising from seven to nine times weekly, and Balkipapan and Makassar increasing from three to four times weekly.
In addition, Scoot recently commenced daily flights to Subang, Malaysia, on 1 September 2024. New services to Kertajati (Greater Bandung), Indonesia, will begin on 28 September 2024, followed by Malacca, Malaysia, on 23 October 2024. However, flights to Ningbo will be suspended, with the final service set for 26 October 2024.
