
5 June 2012, Singapore – Despite a delay of around two hours on its first ever inaugural flight out of Singapore, SCOOT flight TZ2 with an aircraft registration 9V-OTC landed at Sydney International Airport this morning. The flight was given a water cannon salute as the aircraft taxied to the gate.
On board the flight were over 400 passengers and CEO Campbell Wilson. Michelle Chong and Chua En Lai from the tv programme ‘The Noose’ as well as Glenn Ong and Vernetta Lopez from Class 95 were amongst the celebrities aboard the flight. Media from Singapore as well as bloggers Alvinology, Camemberu, Ladyironchef and Dawn Yang were on board the flight.
Scoot also announced today that it will be flying to Tokyo and Taipei in to Gold Coast, Bangkok and Tianjin.
