Scoot Celebrates with its 100,000th Passenger

14 August 2012, Singapore – Yesterday, Scoot welcomed its 100,000th guest Sam Tan and her companion by surprising her with a group of “Scootees” as they were checking in at Singapore Changi Airport’s Terminal 2 for their flight to Bangkok.

Sam Tan and her companion received a free upgrade to ScootBiz as well as another pair of round-trip ScootBiz tickets to any of Scoot’s destinations.

The airline had its inaugural flight on 4 June 2012 with its first destination Sydney.  Scoot’s third aircraft will enter service this week.  Flights between Singapore and Tianjin will start on 23 August 2012 and Taipei will commence on 18 September 2012.
