QANTAS today unveiled the final design of the new Business Suites on its Airbus A330 fleet which will be progressively introduced later this year. The new Business Suite will be available on all 28 of Qantas’ A330 aircraft.
Customers can choose to recline their seat from anytime from take-off to landing, subject to final CASA certification. This means you can have your seat fitted with the mattress before take-off, so you can maximise rest from the time you board your flight till you land. New cotton duvet, mattress, increased pillow size and pyjamas will be available onboard international flights.
The new Business Suites are designed with inputs from QANTAS creative designer Marc Newson and feature full flat bed with direct aisle access for every Business Class passenger in a 1-2-1 configuration. These Vantage XL seats are manufactured by Thompson Aero Seating. The seats feature ergonomist and customer comfort advisory panel optimising seat comfort as well as the latest generation cushion technology. New 16″ in-flight entertainment screens offering more movies and television programmes will be available.
Additional storage spaces and functional workspaces allow customers in Business Suite flexibility, comfort and privacy.
Routes currently serviced by all 28 QANTAS A330s include Sydney/Melbourne/Brisbane to Singapore or Hong Kong, Sydney to Bangkok/Jakarta/Manila/Honolulu/Shanghai/Melbourne/Brisbane and Sydney/Melbourne/Brisbane to Perth.
