The 202-guestroom Park Regis Singapore has just undergone a S$3 million facelift since 2014. The hotel first opened on 28 November 2010 and is StayWell Hospitality Group’s flagship hotel in South East Asia.
Located at 23 Merchant Road, the hotel’s reception counter has been moved to level three. It also introduces new food and beverage outlets Twenty3 Drink & Dine and Royal Pavilion on the ground floor while the rooftop bar has gotten a complete makeover.
The gym has also gotten a refurbishment.
As part of the refurbishment, the bedding in the guestrooms have been upgraded so that guests can get a good night’s rest. Lightweight, hypoallergenic ‘micro cloud’ pillows with an extra four inches added to mattresses with Simmons Beautyrest Convoluted Foam Toppers, 400-thread count, 100% Egyptian cotton bedlinen are some of the improvements introduced.
Park Regis Singapore has four room types. All the rooms are 20sqm except for the Regis Room which is 33sqm. Hotel rooms in Singapore are usually on the small side compared to rooms in other parts of the world.
- Park Rooms are classic rooms located from the second to seventh levels
- Merchant Rooms have views of Merchant Road or the Pool and are located from level three through seven
- Quay Rooms offer direct pool access and are located on level two
- Regis Rooms offer a view of Clarke Quay or Merchant Road, the pool or tropical landscape or a combination of all. There is a private dining area and balcony and is located from level two through seven
Guests staying in Park Regis Singapore enjoy complimentary wireless internet access amongst many of the usual amenities expected from a four-star business and leisure hotel.
In house bath and body collection is provided together with bathrobes and slippers.
Park Regis Singapore is operated by Australia’s StayWell Hospitality Group and owned by Nanshan Group Singapore. StayWell Hospitality Group first launched in 2006 with five Australian hotels.
