I had the privilege of staying in of of the 74 Luxury Club Millésime room. Club Millésime is located at level 31 and guests check in/out here, with added service, attention and exclusivity. Here, there is also the chic lounge which serves complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening cocktails. It also has business facilities for working guests. As a guest of Club Millésime, you get to enjoy a personalised butler service and unlimited internet usage. But most importantly, it offers late check out until 4pm.
The Luxury Club Millésime room is very spacious, especially the toilet. Its chic, contemporary yet warm and classy decor, together with a very comfortable bed, makes it almost impossible to leave the room. The small touches like such as a cute folded towel in a shape of a bird that was part of turn down service, a vase of roses and a plate of complimentary fruits, contributed to the overall luxe experience.
Though Bangkok offers a great array of excellent eateries and restaurants, if you are intending to stay in and enjoy the hotel, you will not be disappointed with the cuisine choices available.
Firstly there is the all-day dining restaurant Voilà! with a “Cuisines on Stage” concept, showcasing live cooking stations. You are spoilt for choice with French, Italian, Western, Asian, Japanese and of course, Thai cuisine. Voilà! also boasts of an impressive spread of 30 different French artisan cheeses accompanied with 250 wines from France and around the world. If you are looking for a casual drink and snack, then Le Macaron in the lobby offers a good selection of coffee, tea and beverages as well as French gourmet sweets and pastries. Also located in the lobby is Le Bar de l’Hôtel, a lounge with live performances or music spun by top DJs; ideal for pre or post dinner drinks. Another interesting dining concept is L’Appart, a rooftop Parisien Apartment concept with a lounge, champagne bar, and an open kitchen serving exquisite ala minute French cuisine. It also has an outdoor terrace for panoramic views of Bangkok.
After all the feasting, you must visit So Fit fitness centre with its comprehensive state-of-the-art equipment including a 24-metre long outdoor pool. And it is opened 24 hours a day, so you have no excuse not to shed some calories. Then again, if you are on a holiday, why worry about the calories. Focus on relaxation and visit Le SPA with L’Occitane. Choose from their range of signature treatments where their spa therapists use carefully blended natural ingredients, for a total rejuvenating experience.
