Malaysia Airlines and the British High Commission in Kuala Lumpur have collaborated with Michelin-star chef Gary Rhodes to offer First Class passengers and Enrich Platinum members British Cuisine as part of the British High Commission’s Food is GREAT campaign.
Rhodes and the airline’s chef work together to serve a special menu exclusively at the Platinum Lounge in KL International Airport for two weeks starting 2 November 2015. Guests will be able to enjoy a three-course meal.

The meal features Pan Fried Sea Bass with Spring Onion and Creamy Potato, Grilled Sirloin Steak with Buttered Spinach, Tomatoes, Black Olive and Basil Cream Hollandaise, Fried Bread and Butter Pudding, White Chocolate, Date Syrup and Vanilla Ice Cream.

Chartered Flights between Kota Kinabalu and China
The Panda is synonymous with Chengdu China
Malaysia Airlines Berhad has partnered Universal Charter Sdn Bhd to provide scheduled air charter services from 15 December 2015 to 31 March 2016 between Kota Kinabalu to sectors in China beyond the airline’s network.
180 charter flights will be operated from Tianjin, Nanning and Chengdu to Kota Kinabalu connecting Chinese tourists to Malaysia. MAB’s B737-800 will be used for this service.
According to the Malaysia Airlines website, it currently flies to Chinese cities including Guangzhou, Xiamen, Fuzhou, Shanghai and Beijing.
