17 March 2012, Johor Bahru –  The first LEGOLAND theme park to open in Asia-Pacific and the sixth in the world is slated to open end of this year.    LEGOLAND Malaysia will be located in Nusajaya, in the heart of Medini North as part of the Medini Iskandar Malaysia (Medini) region where there will also be a lifestyle retail mall, commercial developments and office buildings.   Located just 10 minutes by car from the second link connecting Singapore and Johor, the 76 acre theme park for families with children from 2 to 12 years of age will feature more than 40 rides, shows and attractions at any time of the year on opening.

The park will be divided up into seven themed areas designed to let you explore and get hands on at the LEGO experiment centres, roller coasters, water attractions and shows.  READ OUR PREVIEW HERE.

The steelworks for its main attraction roller coaster ride LEGO TECHNIC Test Track was completed in December last year.  Rising to 20 metres above ground level with a bird’s eye view of the LEGOLAND landscape and views of Iskandar Malaysia,  the roller coaster will be among the first roller coasters built for young children at the park.

Sale of Annual Passes

LEGOLAND Malaysia has partnered SISTIC to sell pre-opening annual passes.  These passes are also available on www.LEGOLAND.my.   Over 10,000 annual passes at 30% off have been sold to date. Approximately 40% of these passes have been bought by Singaporean families.

Pre-Opening Annual Pass  (till 16 April 2012)

  • Adult – RM195 (Normal Price RM275)
  • Child – RM150 (Normal Price RM210)

Gate Prices

  • Adult – RM140
  • Child – RM110

This special discounted rate for annual passes have been extended till 16 April 2012.

    Dear Legoland Malaysia, we have booked via Airasia Redtix for our tickers, however, till date, we have not received such Tix, we fully understand that is not yr purview for these annual passes but many people like us felt that it really looks bad on Legoland that it seems you guys are not professional because Redtix has screwed up!!! Please get the right seller in future!!! (PS: you might want to check out the complains in Redtix Facebook, in case, u r not aware.)
