23 May 2011, Seoul, Korea – Leading transaction processor and provider of advanced technology solutions for the global travel and tourism industry and Korean Air announced their joint-partnership to transform the future of the Korean travel industry.
Korean Air will migrate its passenger service systems to the full suite of Amadeus’ Altea Customer Management Solution.
Held at Korean Air’s headquarters in Seoul on 20 May, Korean Air SVP, Corporate Strategy and Planning Division, Walter Cho and Amadeus EVP Commercial, Philippe Chérèque, attended the signing ceremony. Korean Air aims to deliver an advanced level of customer service for their passengers and integrate more closely with partners in the SkyTeam global alliance by providing more seamless reservation, reduction in check-in time as well as to roll out new technology options and more personalized flight services for Korean Air customers.
Korean Air continues to introduce more comfortable, upgraded and environmentally friendly next-generation aircraft, such as the A380, the B787 and the B747-8I to improve and solidify its standing as a leading global carrier worldwide.
