Skytrax will announce Garuda Indonesia as the newest member of the ‘5-Star Airline’ rating. Garuda Indonesia joins other 5-star airlines including ANA, Asiana, Cathay Pacific, Hainan Airlines, Singapore Airlines and Qatar Airways, Malaysian Airlines 5-star airline is under review.
This new rating is recognition of the turnaround in quality standards at Garuda Indonesia. The rating is based on an all-round assessment of product and service, onboard and at the airport.
With one of the youngest fleets (average aircraft age of 4.02 years) in Asia Garuda Indonesia’s long haul fleet offers Business Class flat-bed seating and 32-34 inch seat pitch in Economy. The airline offers First and Business Class 5-Star service concept across its Boeing 777-300ER Fleet.
Garuda Indonesia will transfer to the new Terminal 3 at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in 2015 with improved travel experience through enhanced transfers and airport service, together with improved and expanded premium passenger facilities.
