United Airlines is offering free snacks again in economy class from today within North America, to and from Central America and between Honolulu and Guam. Today seems to be the day US airlines are introducing new food items on its inflight menu. Delta Airlines also introduced healthy Luvo wraps onboard its flights.
This morning thousands of customers get to enjoy the scent of cinnamon and caramel as they indulge in complimentary stroopwafels – Dutch made toasted waffle treats. This is offered for flights before 9.45am and may be enjoyed straight out of the package or warmed on top of a cup of coffee or tea to soften the waffle and melt the caramel filling.
Later today, Asian-style snack mix of rice crackers, sesame sticks and wasabi peas, or a zesty ranch mix of mini pretzel sticks, Cajun corn sticks and ranch soy nuts will be offered. These packaged snack mixes will be available on flights departing at 9.45am or later.
Choice Menu items will still be available for purchase or complimentary economy cabin meals depending on the length of flight and location.
illycaffe’s scuro dark roast will be offered on flights worldwide this summer.
