Finnair’s Premium Lounge is set to open 1 July 2014. Located adjacent to the Finnair Lounge near gate 36 in the non-Schenden area of Helsinki Airport, the Premium Lounge is designed by Helsinki firm dSign Vertti Kivi & Co.
The Premium Lounge complements the original Finnair Lounge and will be ready for Platinum and Gold Finnair Plus members and other oneworld top-tier customers.
The lounge offers different zone for work, refreshment, quiet time or bathing and are unified with a light Scandinavian design touch.
As in any lounge, complimentary food and drinks, including wine and spirits are offered. The lounge takes up 407 square metres of space and seats up to 122 guests. Both the Premium Lounge and adjoining original Lounge will enjoy access to a completely new private shower suites as well as a Finnish sauna. Towels and forest berry-based shampoos, shower gels and lotions from Finland will be provide.
