“I personally want to thank our passengers from around the globe for their ongoing support of EVA. I also want to thank our entire staff who, throughout the three years of COVID-related lockdowns, worked tirelessly to improve the quality of our products and services. Now, as passenger demand climbs back toward pre-pandemic heights, we are accelerating introductions of new services, finalizing plans to launch a wider selection of inflight meal choices and upgrading onboard courtesies and conveniences. We expect to reveal these changes during the second half of this year and look forward to giving travelers new and even better experiences.”

In 2019, EVA Air revolutionised air travel by being the first to launch Premium Economy Class. The airline is adding its latest Premium Economy in between the Royal Laurel and Economy Classes on its Boeing 787-9s as a refresh and reconfiguration for the aircraft. The upgraded B787-9s will be introduced in mid-2024.

EVA Air has consistently upheld its core values of attentive, caring, warm, and friendly services, combined with uncompromising flight safety standards. These principles have served as the driving force behind their commitment to delivering exceptional air travel experiences to passengers. Their dedication to excellence and unwavering focus on safety has not gone unnoticed, as they have received recognition and awards from esteemed organisations in the airline industry, media, and government sectors. AirlineRatings.com, a highly regarded rating website, positioned EVA Air in the eighth spot in their prestigious “World’s 25 Best Airlines 2023” ranking. Additionally, EVA Air has secured a place among the “World’s Top 20 Safest Airlines” for ten consecutive years, a distinction that sets them apart as the sole airline in Taiwan to achieve this recognition.
