July 2011, Singapore – Etihad Airways introduces “Last Minute Upgrade” allowing guests to upgrade their seats just 72 hours before departure. This option allows passengers to upgrade themselves from Coral Economy to Pearl Business or from Pearl Business to Diamond First.
Depending on availability, guests will be offered a range of special booking classes on applicable flights. Tickets will be accordingly rebooked and reissue to reflect the new upgrade with, with additional fare amounts collected at its respective check-in counters.
