James Hogan, President and CEO of Etihad Airways was in Singapore last week to accept the Airline Market Leadership Award at the Air Transport World magazine’s 40th Annual Airline Industry Achievement Awards.
On Tuesday evening, Hogan hosted guests at a cocktail held at the Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore. An intimate group of guests comprising trade partners, diplomatic officials and media attended the cocktail. James spoke about the seven good years Etihad Airways has been flying between Singapore and Abu Dhabi and also spoke briefly about plans for the year including the new A380 service with a business class that would be better than some other airline’s first class cabins.
Etihad Airways currently operates a daily Airbus A330-200 direct flight between Singapore and Abu Dhabi as well as between Singapore and Brisbane. Flights depart Singapore at 7.45pm and arrives in Abu Dhabi at 11.35pm. Flights from Abu Dhabi departs at 10.25am and arrives in Singapore at 10.10pm.
Flights to Brisbane depart Singapore at 11.40pm and arrives in Brisbane at 9.40am the next day. The return flight departs at 11.55am from Brisbane and arrives in Singapore at 6.10pm.
