Etihad Airways will operate its new B787-9 Dreamliner between Abu Dhabi and Singapore from 1 August 2015. The B787-9 Dreamliner comes with a three class configuration featuring eight First Suites, 28 Business Studios and 199 Economy Smart Seats.
Etihad Airways will introduce First Class for this route as well as change scheduled timings to provide better connections to 35 destinations in the GCC, Middle East, Africa and Europe via its hub at Abu Dhabi.
In First Class, the enhanced suite offers a chilled mini-bar, privacy while centre seats which can be joined to create a double bed.
Business Studios offer direct aisle access with a full flat bed of up to 80.5 inches in length.
EY470 departs Abu Dhabi at 10pm daily and arrives in Singapore at 10.15 the next day. The return flight EY473 returns from Singapore at 8.10pm and arrives in Abu Dhabi at 11.45pm. Click here to check out airfares on Etihad Airways.
Etihad Airways has an order of 71 B787s in two variants of the -9 and -10. It currently operates the B787-9 to Washington DC and Mumbai and from 1 June to Düsseldorf and Brisbane. The airline will also begin taking delivery of the B787s in a two-class configuration from 2016.
