Emirates will add Brussels, Belgium, its 147th destination to its network of cities it flies to from 5 September 2014. This follows closely after the launch of Oslo, Norway on 2 September. The non stop service between Dubai and Brusells will be operated on a Boeing 777 in a three-class configuration. Emirates will be the first to offer a First class service from Brussels to the Middle East and Asia.
EK183 will depart Dubai at 7.50am and arrives at Brussels International Airport at 1.15pm the same day. The return flight EK184 will depart Brussels at 2.45pm and arrives in Dubai International Airport at 11.25pm the same day.
Brussels International Airport is a multi-modal hub with its own train station that links passengers to all major cities in Belgium as well as the major industrial centres of Europe.
Belgium is home to 11 UNESCO World Heritage sites and draws close to 7.5 million tourists yearly. It is also ranked as the world’s top 20 trading nations and a key cargo hub with exports accounting for a significant percentage of the country’s GDP. The UAE is home to over 30 Belgian companies and over 3,000 Belgian residents. Emirates currently employs 160 Belgian nationals.
Emirates has eight new destination launches this year including Kiev, Taipei, Boston, Abuja, Kano, Chicago, Brussels and Oslo.
