Emirates Skywards Members Can Pay For Access To Emirates Lounges in Dubai

Emirates is now offering Blue tier members of Emirates Skywards, the airline’s frequent flyer programme access to the Emirates lounges at Dubai International Airport for a fee regardless of class of travel. Friends and family travelling on the same Emirates flight can also get access for a fee.

Emirates Skywards Silver and Gold members enjoy complimentary access to the lounges while guests travelling on the same flight can enter at an additional charge regardless of class of travel. Silver and Gold members can purchase an upgrade to the First Class Lounge in Dubai.

Platinum members can pay to invite more guests to join them at any of the airline’s eligible lounges in Dubai.

Currently, complimentary lounge access is available to Platinum, Gold and Silver members regardless of class of travel on Emirates flights. Platinum or Gold members one one guest may access Emirates Lounges across the Emirates network. Silver members can only access the Emirates Business Class lounge at Dubai International Airport.

The fees specified for availing this benefit per adult for four hours of lounge access are as follows:

  • First Class Lounges = USD 200 / AED 720
  • Business Class Lounges = USD 100 / AED 360
  • Emirates Lounge = USD 100 / AED 360
  • Upgrade from Business Class Lounge to First Class Lounge = USD 100 / AED 360

Children under the age of 12 years will be charged at half the adult rate. Infants below two years old get to enter for free. The fee is to be paid via credit or debit card to the lounge staff prior to admittance.

If you are flying on Emirates Codeshare Flights operated by other carriers, then you will not be eligible to access the Emirates Lounge, except for Qantas codeshare flights.
