As visitors to Dubai increases, the hotel industry in Dubai has continued to expand its portfolio. An estimated 20,000 to 30,000 hotel rooms are expected to be added to the existing 85,000 rooms by the end of 2016. As the city is known for its luxurious hotels and spas for the higher-end visitors, the Dubai Government has made recent legislative changes to benefit the mid market (three and four star) hotels.
