Dragonair will be flying four four daily flights between Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur replacing the flights operated by Cathay Pacific. The new flights will be introduced progressively between March and May next year.
To date it operates 11 weekly flights between Hong Kong and Penang and five weekly flights to Kota Kinabalu. Together with Kuala Lumpur, it will be operating 44 weekly flight to Malaysia. Five of Cathay Pacific’s Airbus A330s will be transferred to Dragonair to support the airline’s operation and growth.
Just in case you didn’t know, Dragonair is a full service regional airline of Cathay Pacific. It is also a member of oneworld because of Cathay Pacific’s membership. This means you can also accumulate air miles and status points with other oneworld member airlines’ frequent flyer programmes when flying with the airline.
Dragonair will get rebranded to Cathay Dragon later this year.
