Cebu Pacific Air introduces a new daily 436-seater non-stop service between Manila (MNL) and Dubai (DXB), making it the first Philippine airline to land in Dubai in 15 years. This is also the low cost carrier’s first ever low-cost, long haul flight which takes nine hours each way. There are some half a million Filipinos living in the emirate.

Cebu Pacific has recently boosted its fleet to 47 aircraft when it took delivery of its second Airbus A330-300.  It intends to have a wide-body fleet of eight. To celebrate the inaugural flight, Cebu Pacific Air has awarded free flights to 100 Filipinos in the Middle East who have been away for more than a year.

5J 7944 departs Manila at 4.40pm and arrives in Dubai at 9.40pm. The return flight 5J 7945 departs Dubai at 11.10pm and arrives in Manila at 11.40am.
