Cathay Pacific is upping its flights between Hong Kong and Manchester as well as London Gatwick next year. It will increase its four-time-weekly service to Gatwick to a daily service from June 2017. A fifth weekly flight will be added to the Hong Kong – Manchester route when an all Airbus A350-900 operations happens in June next year.
Since the launch of service this September, Cathay Pacific has been operating the Airbus A350-900 to Gatwick. The airline also operates services to London Heathrow utilising a B777-300ER. The B777-300ER is also used to service the flights to Manchester today. To date, Cathay Pacific operates 43 non stop flights to the United Kingdom weekly, including five daily services to Heathrow, and four-times-weekly services to Gatwick and Manchester.
Cathay Pacific has reopened its newly renovated lounge at Heathrow, the only lounge outside of Hong Kong to offer separate First and Business class areas. The flight schedule for the Gatwick and Manchester flights in June 2017 will be:
- CX 349 departs Hong Kong at 12.55am and arrives in London Gatwick at 6.30am daily. The return flight CX344 departs London Gatwick at 1.15pm and arrive in Hong Kong at 7.55am the next day.
- CX 357 departs Hong Kong at 1am for Manchester at 6.50am on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The return flight CX358 departs Manchester at 12.25pm and arrives in Hong Kong at 7.05am on the same days.
